Massage
My massage aims to promote health and well-being. The focus is on relaxing body and mind. I work with varying pressures and long sliding strokes (effleurage) as well as kneading (petrissage) and tapping (tapotement techniques). This massage is supposed to reduce muscle tension and should lead to general relaxation.
In the full-body massage, the neck, back, arms and legs are massaged.
Usually a mobile massage takes 45 minutes. Please let me know if you like to get a 60 minutes or 90 minutes massage instead when you book your massage.
You are welcome to contact me for a reputable massage in my massage studio, at your home or holiday home. The prices for this can be found on the page Prices
Enjoy the benefits of a wellness-massage and the healtheffekt of being in the nature at the same time.
If you can´t come up on a massagebank och if you can´t lay on your tummy while getting your massage I can even offer a massage in a massage-chair instead.
Tactile Massage
Tactile massage is a calm and holistic treatment in which the masseur performs long, soft and textured touches of the skin. Among other things, the effects of a tactile massage can be a production of the hormone oxytocin ("calmness hormone"), can lead to more relaxation, can reduce stress and can lead to better sleep quality.
Cupping massage
A cupping massage is a deep tissue treatment performed using silicone (or glass) cups. By creating a vacuum, the skin and subcutaneous tissue are lifted, which can increase lymph and blood circulation, release muscle tension, promote recovery, and provide deep relaxation for the nervous system.
After a treatment, you usually get visible bluish-purple suction marks or redness on the skin. These are completely harmless and usually disappear within a week.
The cups can be placed still on specific areas for a few minutes or can be moved over the skin using massage oil to treat larger muscle groups.
However, there are conditions in which cupping massage should not be performed, such as: blood-thinning medications, hemophilia, anemia, heart/organ failure, pacemaker, severe hypertension/high blood pressure, blood clots/thrombosis, on the abdomen or lower back during pregnancy (double-check with your doctor), varicose veins in the area itself, during an ongoing infection, inflammation och feber.
Sportmassage
Sports massage is an intensive massage and can aim to increase mobility. The muscles can be activated and limbered up and the fascia can be relaxed. Muscles stressed by the training are massaged in a targeted manner to increase the well-being of the athlete.
Acupressur
Acupressure is a holistic traditional chinese medicine technique and is used in wellness as a acupressure massage.
In an acupressure/acupressure massage, pressure is applied by hands and fingers to specific energy points (acupuncture points) on the body to promote the clients well-being by reducing stress and increasing energy levels.
Lymphatic massage
Lymphatic massage is a gentle and light manual method that stimulates the functions of the lymphatic system. The purpose is to help the body eliminate waste products and strengthen the immune system.
Lymphatic massage in wellness care? - ABSOLUTELY!
Why is lymphatic massage considered wellness care?
Lymphatic massage promotes health and well-being while contributing to improved circulation, reduced stress, and can strengthen the immune system.
In wellness care, it is a preventive massage aimed at keeping the body in balance and preventing swelling and fatigue.
In 2013/2014, I took a course in lymphatic therapy. It was a total of about 4 weeks of learning about the theme of lymphatic therapy, along with an exam, and since then I have been a certified lymphatic therapist.
Peeling-Massage
It´s even possible to book a peeling-massage with seasalt and oliveoil.
